Whispp Recognized in the Forbes Accessibility 200
For the second year in a row, Whispp has been recognized by Forbes for its role in accessibility innovation.
After being included in the Forbes Accessibility 100 in 2025, Whispp is proud to be part of the Forbes Accessibility 200 in 2026. The list highlights global innovators and impact-makers working to improve accessibility across communication, mobility, education, software, consumer products, the workplace, entertainment, and more.
For Whispp, this recognition is especially meaningful. Accessibility is where our mission began, and it remains one of the clearest examples of why Voice Reconstruction AI matters.
Whispp was created to help people communicate more naturally when their voice does not work the way they need it to.
People who stutter, live with vocal cord paralysis, have lost their voice after laryngeal cancer, or experience speech challenges due to neurological conditions can use Whispp to turn whispered or affected speech into a clear, natural-sounding voice in real time.
That human need remains central to the company’s work.
At the same time, the same technology is becoming relevant to a broader communication challenge: how to support natural conversation when speaking freely is difficult, uncomfortable, or simply not possible.
That can mean a person with a voice condition being heard more clearly in an everyday call. It can also mean someone whispering during a quiet call, speaking discreetly in a shared space, or relying on voice reconstruction when normal speech is not the right option.
Whispp’s Voice Reconstruction AI converts whispered, affected, or constrained speech into a clear, natural-sounding voice in real time.
Instead of asking people to adapt to communication systems that expect a clear and stable voice signal, Whispp helps communication technology adapt to how people actually speak in real life.
This matters because voice communication is more than intelligibility. Timing, identity, accent, intonation, and expression all shape how people understand each other in conversation.
By preserving more of these human qualities, Whispp aims to support communication that feels natural, personal, and immediate.
“Being recognized by Forbes again means a lot to us because accessibility is where Whispp’s mission began. Every day, we see how much it matters when someone can take part in a real conversation in a voice that feels natural to them. Our vision is to bring that same capability into everyday communication, so technology can support people in more speaking situations, whether they are using an affected voice, whispering, or simply cannot speak freely in that moment.”
Joris Castermans, Founder and CEO of Whispp
The Forbes Accessibility 200 recognition reflects the human impact behind Whispp’s technology and the role accessibility continues to play in shaping better communication for everyone.
Whispp will continue to build Voice Reconstruction AI for real-world speaking situations, from assistive communication to quiet calls, discreet conversations, and future communication experiences across devices and platforms.
We are grateful to our users, testers, partners, and the wider community for helping shape Whispp with their feedback, stories, and trust.
Together, we are working toward a future where more people can take part in natural conversations, in more moments, on their own terms.
