Whispp Wins Dutch Chamber of Commerce Innovation Top 100

During the KVK Entrepreneurshipdays on 14 November, the jury announced the winners of the 20th Dutch Chamber of Commerce Innovation Top 100. Whispp has been chosen as the category winner Health & Nutrition in the Kamer van Koophandel Innovation Top 100 2025. That also makes this a back-to-back win for companies from PLNT Leiden. Last year Concord Neonatal took home the main prize. This year Whispp and Bionomic both went home with an award.

For those unfamiliar with it, the KVK Innovatie Top 100 is the Dutch Chamber of Commerce’s annual list that highlights the 100 most innovative small and medium-sized companies. A professional jury and public votes select winners in themes such as Health and Nutrition, Energy Transition, Circular Economy, and more. A lot of visibility, a strong network, and extra trust in what you are building. For Whispp, this recognition comes at a special moment.

We started as assistive technology for people with a voice condition. Today, we are building real-time, on-device voice reconstruction. In simple terms: Whispp turns hard-to-understand speech and whispering into a clear, natural voice instantly, on your own device. That still helps people with a voice condition regain their voice.

However, it also unlocks new use cases, such as private and discreet calls simply by whispering, as well as future applications in areas like customer contact, healthcare, gaming, and other audio-driven services. Whispp has evolved from a single assistive app into a streaming voice technology that can be licensed and integrated into various products.
